St Columba's Kitchen Garden

St.Columba's Primary School have a little kitchen garden overflowing with healthy parsley and mint. It is well looked after by dedicated parents with some help from our students.

We are so happy to be able to share our produce with Sacred Heart Mission who do such an amazing job cooking meals for hundreds of people.

St Columba's is proud to be a 5-Star Resource Smart School.  We're also closely affiliated with the Port Phillip Eco Centre and have won a number of sustainability awards and grants. Our students play an important role in these initiatives working together to lower rubbish consumption, reduce our energy usage and compost waste. We make good use of the compost in our thriving kitchen garden, which is part of Stephanie Alexander's renowned Kitchen Garden Program.
