Youth and Schools Clean Up Day 2021

On Friday the 26th February, all students participated in Youth and Schools Clean Up Day. Every class took to the streets of Elwood to collect rubbish. Students collected from the beach, near the canal, around the block, our school yard and down by the Ormond Rd shops! We collected around 10 full bags of rubbish. It was great to do our part and help reduce the litter in our community.  A Clean Up Day is another great opportunity to inspire our students to learn about the impact of rubbish on the environment and encourages students to play an active role in their local community.

What our parents & students say

"I have been a part of the St Columba's community now for over 30 years. First as a pupil, then as a staff member at Before and After School Care, and now as a parent. My children are thriving here now just as I did."
