Learning about team-work and green-work

We had a visit on Thursday from Sharron from the Port Phillip Eco Centre who talked to us about Sustainability.

We brainstormed on the board how we are and can be sustainable at home and school.

Then we watched a short YouTube video about a man that had courage to dance on his own and then others joined in. He was happy he inspired people to join him dancing.

We got into 4 groups and Sharron gave us recycled straws to build a tower that could stand up for at least 30 seconds and be the tallest. The activity was to teach us to cooperate, work as a team and share each otherâs ideas. We learnt about team work and cooperation.

What our parents & students say

"St Columba's is known as the little school with the big heart and you notice that when you first arrive. Every teacher and every student knows your child by name. They offer bespoke learning experiences for children to enjoy while at school."
