Sustainable Festival
Our Year 4 Eco Warriors had a ball attending and presenting at the 18th Annual School Sustainability Festival on Thursday 7th Sept. Schools from all over the City of Port Phillip, Bayside and Glen Eira city councils came together in a Kids teaching Kids format to share their knowledge and understandings about Sustainability. St Columba's students presented about composting and worm farms, capturing their audiences with their fun and engaging quiz and sorting game. Students also learnt from Eco Centre experts about the flora and fauna in our local community and ways we can help reduce waste and look after native wildlife. Our Eco Warriors were presented with a Composters Champion award on the day. It was a worthwhile experience filled with lots of fun learning and connection.

What our parents & students say

"I have been a part of the St Columba's community now for over 30 years. First as a pupil, then as a staff member at Before and After School Care, and now as a parent. My children are thriving here now just as I did."
